Real Name: Henry "Hank" McCoy Affiliation: X-Men, (Former) X-Factor, Affiliation: Avengers, Defenders Height: 5'11" Weight: 355 lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Blue-Black Beast is strong enough to lift 2,000 pounds, has the agility of a great ape, and the acrobatic prowess of the most accomplished aerialist or acrobat. He is able to run on all four at approximately 40 miles per hour and his stamina is approximately triple that of a well-trained athlete. The Beast is also an incredibly intelligent geneticist. |
In our reality, the Beast was a founding member of both the X-Men and X-Factor as well as a member of the Avengers and the Defenders. His greatest accomplishment has been implementing the work of his former colleague, the late geneticist Moira MacTaggert, to eradicate the plague known as the Legacy Virus.

Hank was held at a Maximum Security Prison one hundred miles off the coast of Tahiti alongside Magneto and an assortment of other Super Beings before being rescued by Magnus, Magneto's son from an alternate reality.

Beast fought in the Trial of Phoenix alongside his fellow X-Men, but was taken out early by the shape-shifting Morph who turned into an Elephant and dropped down on top of McCoy. This proved to be a blessing in disguise as Beast, for although he would not be able to contribute for the rest of the fight, he would be one of only two X-Men who were not killed by the Phoenix.

A member of the Avengers, Earth's mightiest and only super heroes on a world overrun with Vi-Locks. Beast took part in the unsuccessful infiltration of the Vi-Lock Mainframe and was essential in mitigating the effects of the Warlock Virus when Blink became infected with the disease in its purest form.

One of the X-Men who fought alongside Namora when Magneto attacked an air force base. Although they were able to stop the villain, the pictures made headlines, crystallizing humanity's fear of mutants and hardening hearts around the world. Though Namora counseled resistance, Charles Xavier surrendered himself and his students like a sheep to the slaughter, trusting a criminal justice system that shut them away forever.
