Real Name: Unrevealed Affiliation: Imperial Guard Height: 5'6" Weight: 125 lbs. Eyes: No Visible Pupils or Irises Hair: Unrevealed Manta sees in the infrared portion of the spectrum, rather than portion visible to Earth human being. Hence, she perceives things by the heat, or infrared radiation, that they generate. Though she is also able to project blinding white or blue light, it is unclear whether it comes from her costume or from her body. It has been implied the her light is connected with her life force. |
In our reality, Manta was a Borderer in the Shi'ar Imperial Guard.

Manta scrapped against the X-Men when the Imperial Guard sought to take the life of Jean Grey. However, their weakened lines were defeated and Manta was at the epicenter of the of the blast that transformed Jean Grey into the Dark Phoenix and, as such, she is presumed dead.
