In our reality, Peter Parker, otherwise known as Spider-Man, was orphaned at an early age and given into the care of his Father's Brother, Uncle Ben Parker, and his Aunt May Parker. Shortly after Peter acquired his Spider-Powers, Ben Parker was killed leaving May Parker to struggle alone raising her teen-age nephew. Peter eventually moved out, while Mary Jane Watson's Aunt Anna moved in with Aunt May. She has recently discovered that Peter is Spider-Man.
