Reality Check is still on hiatus, this time to prep for the launch of Jolt!, but some more information popped up that we couldn't pass up on. Beginning with new artist Paul Pelletier's first issue, the Exiles will embark on a World Tour that will bring them to the Prime Marvel Universe, Earth 616 (Exiles #69-71), then venture off to some familiar worlds. Namely, the New Universe (#72-74), 2099 (#75-76), Squadron Supreme (#77-78), Future Imperfect (#79-80), and Heroes Reborn (#81-82). Elsewhere in Exiles related news, Nocturne will become a regular cast member in the New Excalibur in November. She can currently be seen making her way back to the Marvel Universe by way of the Mojoverse in the latest issues of Uncanny X-Men.

Exiles Gets New Artist
March 19, 2005
The site is still on hiatus pending updates to our sister site It Only Hurts When I Sing, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to announce this bit of news. This September, Paul Pelletier (She-Hulk, G.L.A.) will be taking over as the new regular artist on Exiles. Jim Calafiore will most likely remain steadfast as our regular fill-in artist, as he has from the start of the series. Pelletier and current Exiles writer Tony Bedard have teamed up before on another X-Title, X-Men Unlimited (Volume 2) #6 where they brought us a tale of the X-Women's worst dating experiences.
And now, for a special treat to tide the time between updates, the pin-up that the covers to Exiles #60-61 make when they're combined together:

Journey Into 2005
January 1, 2005
Reality Check wishes you a Happy New Year and celebrates by giving you this spread of the covers to Exiles #55-57 which combine to form a beautiful pin-up by Jim Calafiore and two new site buttons for Beak and Tanaraq. The site may be taking a back seat for a bit in favor of rehauls to It Only Hurts When I Sing, similiar to the upgrades made last year to Reality Check, in anticipation of March's events that will revisit to the Age of Apocalypse! In addition to a six-issue limited series, a one-shot with multiple tales, and an official handbook, Exiles will double-ship in March with Exiles #60-61 also find the team taking a journey into the Age of Apocalypse.
