Rogue
Real Name: Anna Raven
Affiliation: X-Men, (Former) Brotherhood of Evil Mutants
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 120 lbs.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Brown with White Streak

Rogue possesses the superhuman ability to absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personality, and physical abilities of another being through skin to skin contact. The victim's abilities and memories are absorbed for a time sixty times longer than the amount of time Rogue was in physical contact with that person. The victim loses his or her abilities and memories for the same length of time.

In our reality, Rogue found refuge with the mutant Mystique, who was like a second mother to her, and joined her terrorist organization, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. In battle with Carol Danvers, the original Ms. Marvel, Rogue absorbed her memories and superhuman powers. But, for unknown reasons, Rogue unintentionally absorbed them permanently rather than, as usual, temporarily. Thus Rogue gained Ms. Marvel's superhuman strength and ability to fly. She also now possessed a buried alternate personality that duplicated Danvers and that, in future years, would sometimes supplant her own. As a member of Mystique's Brotherhood, Rogue grew increasingly upset over her inability to control her absorption power and her fears that Danvers' psyche would overwhelm her own. Unable to find help from the Brotherhood, Rogue turned to her enemies, the X-Men, instead. Convinced of her sincerity, Professor Xavier admitted her to the team, and she quickly proved herself a loyal member.

001) Nocturne's Reality (Super Rogue)
Appearances: 41, 42
Rogue is much changed from an encounter during which she permanently absorbed the Super Skrull's powers. Disconcertingly, Rogue's personality has taken on traits more akin to that villain. She joins an incarnation of the Brotherhood led by Cyclops. During their raid of the X-Mansion, Rogue is defeated by the school's adolescent New Mutants.

This Rogue also appears in the 2001 edition of X-Men Millenial Visions.

003) Magnus's Reality (Family Portrait)
Appearances: 1
She is wed to Magneto and the mother of the Exile Magnus. Her son's birth was so fraught with complication, that his birth seemed miraculous and such a blessing for the two long-troubled souls that brought him into the world. As her son grew, so did his abilities. It was obvious to all that Magnus would become even more adept, more powerful than the master of magnetism who sired him. Unfortunate for all, he adopted a trait not unlike one of his mother's. When his flesh mets another's, they are transformed into pure steel. Magnus became unhinged from time when he accidentally killed Rogue a week after his thirteenth birthday. He turned her into steel and his father, who never recovered from the loss, would resume his battle on humanity.

004) Morph's Reality (The Happy Couple)

This Rogue was also a part of the X-Men where Morph comes from.

030) The Love Machine
References: 13
For months Weapon X was stranded in this reality because Sabretooth wouldn't allow them kill Gambit. In the end, they had to kill him and Rogue anyway.

036) Legacy (Tainted Goods)
Appearances: 20, 21
Rogue is one of many in the legion of infected Vi-Locks that dominate Earth. He battles the Avengers during their attempted infiltration of Mainframe.

064) King Hyperion (Helping Hand)
Appearances: 38, 39, 40
One of Magneto's followers in his Brotherhood who retreated onto Asteroid M to sail off into the stars and take another planet as their own. As a parting gift, Magneto released an asteroid that would render Earth a near lifeless dustball within a matter of weeks after impact. After discovering that the Sentinels were taken offline by Weapon X, Magneto took a handful of his Brotherhood which included Rogue and returned to Earth to recruit them to join his Brotherhood. Hyperion declined his offer, killed Magneto, and coerced the remaining Brotherhood to join him. In an attempt to stop the asteroid, Hyperion allowed Rogue to absorb some of his power. The two would ultimately fail in their endeavor and Rogue would die in space once Hyperion's powers wore off. Apparently, this version of Rogue apparently never permanently absorbed the powers of Ms. Marvel and uses a Genoshan collar to keep her powers in check.
