Not much is known about this Hulk prior to her encounter with the Exiles in a world overrun by Sentinels while reality-hopping with Weapon X. This version of Jennifer Walters was not a lawyer, but was a mob bookkereeper when she recieved the blood transplant that made her into the eight-foot jade powerhouse that she is today. Walters is ruthless and has crippled the Dr. Stange of one reality.

Jen was with Weapon X on a world where Iron Man had become the undisputed ruler of the planet. The Tallus told them to assist Stark in his plan for planetary conquest by aiding his efforts to capture the Inhumans and, in order to get past the Inhuman defenses, the team had to retrieve the key to bypass the safeguards of Attilan from Wonder Man who had become more powerful when exposed to gamma radiation.

616)		Mainstream Universe In our reality, Jennifer Walters is the first cousin of Robert Bruce Banner, our world's Hulk. Despite a five-year age difference, Walters and Banner became as close as brother and sister growing up. But the two saw less of each other as they pursued separate careers: Banner medicine; Walters law. Some time after exposure to gamma radiation triggered Banner's first transformation into the Hulk, he visited Walters to re-establish contact with his childhood friend but Walters had been shot and was rapidly losing blood. Banner improvised an emergency transfusion. The effect of Walters receiving Banner's mutated blood first became clear when anger triggered her transformation into a female version of the Hulk. As She-Hulk, Walters joined the Fantastic Four during the Thing's leave and would serve as a member of the mighty Avengers.
