Timebroker
The Timebroker is the Exiles' initial guide to their unfortunate existence. It is assumed that when a person becomes unhinged from time, they are greeted by the Timebroker who is capable of explaining their situation to them in a sane an orderly fashion. The Timebroker does not exist in the conventional sense. He is kind of like the living verb. He is not a literal being. He does not think. Rather, the he is a construct created from the collective consciousness of each of the minds of the Exiles. The Timebroker is how their minds are dealing with their trauma from being unhinged from time. They are freaking out and they don't even know it. The Timebroker is the one who gave Blink the Tallus which instructs the Exiles as best as it can on what is needed to repair breaks in time.
